TAXON TITAN – Animal Identification Challenge

About This Event

The Animal Identification Challenge is an exciting zoology-based game that tests participants’ knowledge of animals through three interactive rounds.

It begins with Photo Safari, where teams identify animals from images or close-up photographs. Next is Call of the Wild, where participants listen to animal sounds and guess the species. The final round is a fast-paced Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge, where teams assemble a puzzle to reveal and identify a mystery animal.

Rules & Guidelines

• Participants must be Higher Secondary students
• Each team must consist of exactly 2 members
• Mobile phones and smartwatches are strictly prohibited
• Silence must be maintained during the audio round

Rounds

• Round 1 – Photo Safari (Visual): Identify the animal displayed on the screen within the given time
• Round 2 – Call of the Wild (Audio): Animal sounds will be played twice; teams must identify the creature
• Round 3 – Puzzle Round: Assemble the jigsaw puzzle and correctly name the mystery animal. Speed matters!

Winning Criteria

• Scores from all three rounds will be combined
• The team with the highest total score will be declared the winner
